Welcome to the Academic Deans page at Montgomery County Community College. The Deans and Assistant Deans are the academic leaders at our college, overseeing Montco’s varied academic, instructional, and support programs to ensure students receive relevant and high-quality educational opportunities. Their work also includes supporting faculty and students, building connections with transfer schools and community partners, securing grants, and exploring new opportunities for academic programming. They are responsible for all parts of the academic experience, from curriculum development to accreditation and polices to strategic planning.  

Each Dean leads a Division of related academic and/or programmatic areas, which you will find listed in the links given for each Division below. Collectively, they focus on ensuring that Montco’s academic programs deliver meaningful and impactful learning opportunities, engage with the greater Montgomery County community, prepare graduates for careers or to transfer, and promote equity in our academic spaces. Whether you are a student, a faculty member, or a community partner, the Deans are here to support academic success and ensure that our programs continue to meet the highest standards of excellence.
